Greenpeace’s MV Esperanza visits Hurghada

The MV Esperanza (Spanish for "hope") is the latest and largest vessel in the Greenpeace fleet, and it is to visit Hurghada as part of Greenpeace's 'Defending our Oceans' voyage, the single largest expedition that Greenpeace has ever undertaken. In co-operation with HEPCA, Greenpeace docked the Esperanza in Hurghada for 3 days at the tourist port and she was available for all to visit for free. ...Read more

PADI mourns loss of co-founder Ralph Erickson (1922-2006)

PADI, the Professional Association of Diving Instructors and the biggest scuba diving agency in the world, is mourning the loss of its co-founder Ralph Erickson, deceased on past 25th of May at his home in the USA. Born in South Dakota in 1922, Ralph Erickson’s life revolved around education of the youth and influenced an entire industry in a way that very few have ever done.
