This remote resort with Nubian style bungalows provides a clean and restful base for enthusiastic divers looking for an experience away from the crowds. Set in a peaceful environment, the hotel is 115 km south of Marsa Alam and about 30 km from Berenice; the transfer from Marsa Alam airport takes 2,5 hours, while Hurghada is 400 km in the north.

Located in one of the best diving spots in the Red Sea, the resort has a private sandy beach with limited bathing possibilities due to the fringing reef. Divers can get to the eye-catching house reef, whose plateau reaches out to the beach, through the hotel jetty, located just 100m from the dive centre.

115 rooms, distributed in several bungalows all with a garden, pool or sea view. They are equipped with shower, WC, air conditioning, mini fridge and balcony. They can accommodate up to 3 adults.

The restaurant has an open air terrace and offers international buffets for breakfast and dinner; a-la-carte menu are also available (with extra charge).The Pergola Bar is located at the beach, a second bar by the pool and a third one at the dive centre.

In the middle of the wide resort there is a nice swimming pool with sun bathing terraces. Small lobby with safe deposit (free of charge) and money exchange at the reception; souvenir shop. 2 billiards and a good choice of excursions (tours in the desert, riding a camel or by jeep) with extra charge. The main activity for all the guests is diving and snorkelling. The in-house dive centre under German management is a perfect starting point for impressive dive experiences in the deep south of Egyptian Red Sea. 34 diving sites are visited regularly; the most popular ones are the reefs on the legendary Fury Shoals and of course the immaculate house reef, which offers unique adventures for both beginners and experienced divers from dawn to late evening. Full day boat trips start from the jetty, located about 5 km away in Hamata village.
