Makadi Bay, a beautiful resort on a nice sandy bay just south of Hurghada, is a purely tourist area. Dining in Makadi thus revolves mostly around the hotels and resorts in the area and their food outlets.

In Makadi Bay, the hotels’ cuisine is quite good. Hotels normally have a main restaurant serving the boarding meals (breakfast and dinner, sometimes also lunch), and one or two a-la-carte restaurants to sample specialties or to celebrate that special occasion in an intimate atmosphere. Choices of a-la-carte restaurants among the Bay’s hotels are the Italian, the Far East, the Mexican, and others.
