With a tourist area stretching along nearly 40km of coast, Hurghada offers an endless choice of hotels, resorts and guest houses. From small budget one-star hotels, with simple but comfortable rooms, to top-class international hotel chains, Hurghada is a holiday paradise with something for everybody.

Most of the high category hotels and resorts are directly on the sea, with their own private beach, in addition to fresh water swimming pools. Others are located further back but will have an agreement with a beach that guests can reach using the hotel’s shuttle bus.

The high category hotels in Hurghada tend to be very big, between 400 and 800 rooms each, and offer a wide choice of entertainment and services within their grounds.

The smaller hotels and guest houses are located mainly in the downtown area of El Dahar. Some of them cater especially to divers who don’t need many hotel facilities apart from a clean and fresh room.
